Our goal is to only win when you do. That's why we don't lock you in, and charge low placement fees. For contractors, Partly is totally free. We want to enable the knowledge workers of the future.
Contractors set their own rates on the platform, and we add an additional 10% before you pay. The 10% rate is time-limited today (we only bill for the first quarter of engagements with a new contractor).
Pricing for managing contractors in the platform is $50 / month / contractor. This is roughly the same as what you currently pay Gusto, Deel, or Rippling for the same service.
The contractor and hirer should agree on the rate and then apply that rate accordingly when tracking milestones and invoicing. In the future we hope to provide some sense for what the correct rate is depending on role and seniority.
No, we want you to try as many folks as you like before you convert them to full-time. We want the experience to be so positive that you'll come back to Partly for your next incremental hire.
To keep quality high, you can only see people on the marketplace who you've overlapped with at previous companies or folks they've overlapped with. We are not a good platform for new grads, unfortunately. Be sure to fill out your work history completely.
Most of the folks on the platform today are either ex-Benchling, ex-Palantir, or members of the South Park Commons community. We intend to continue onboarding folks from these three communities and from others in the future.
